In 2022 owner Anne Miller immersed herself in the artistry of coffee through specialty barista training with the esteemed Specialty Coffee Association. Fueled by the desire to elevate the coffee experience in Salome, she took the leap to open the doors of Desert Perk.

Throughout the year, Desert Perk provides support and sponsorship for local events, with a special focus on initiatives that celebrate the vibrancy of families and children in Salome. Complementing their coffee offerings is a selection of teas from Maya Tea Company, a local purveyor based in the vibrant city of Tucson, Arizona.
